Driving Directions to Broadway Presbyterian Church
Broadway is located approximately thirteen miles north of Harrisonburg and five miles west of Interstate 81 and from U.S. Rt. 11, the famed “Valley Pike” (which closely parallels I-81) in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

To come to Broadway Presbyterian Church from I-81, use Exit 257, the Mauzy Exit, and proceed west on Rt. 259.  In Broadway, turn left at the second traffic light to continue on Rt. 259, also designated as Lee Street.  Just beyond the next traffic light where North Main Street makes a T-intersection with Rt. 259, tracks of the Norfolk & Southern Railway cross Rt. 259.   However, the church is on the right before the tracks are crossed and before the intersection with North Main Street!  The church location is obvious.  Just before the traffic light, turn right onto Louisa Street, which runs beside the church’s front lawn.  The parking lot is beside the church.

To come to Broadway from Harrisonburg, take Rt. 42 North.  This fine four-lane highway becomes the Main Street of Broadway.  Proceed through the town.  At the north end of town, Main Street makes a “T” intersection with Rt. 259 (Lee Street) at a traffic light.  Turn right (east) onto Lee Street and make an immediate left turn onto Louisa Street.

Alternatively, Rt. 11 can be taken north out of Harrisonburg.  Since Rt. 11 parallels I-81, the directions in the second paragraph may be followed after intersecting with Rt. 259 at Mauzy.  (The Shoppes at Mauzy with an antique stagecoach is a landmark near the intersection).

If approaching Broadway from the north via Rt. 42, travel south through Forestville and through Timberville.  Near Broadway, turn right onto Rt. 259 at the traffic signal.

If driving  eastward out of Brocks Gap on Rt. 259, proceed past J. Frank Hillyard Middle School and cross the concrete bridge over Linville Creek.  The church is clearly visible on the left as the railroad tracks are crossed.  Proceed through the traffic light.  Take the next left onto Louisa Street.
